A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in the Denver area to support a K-12 public school setting. This contract role spans the current school year with a start date of January 7, 2026, and ending May 21, 2026. The assignment involves working onsite Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week at one school serving students in grades PreK-8.

Role Responsibilities

Provide speech-language assistance under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists within the district
Support students across a range of ages with communication and speech development needs
Collaborate with school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support communication goals
Attend meetings and maintain documentation as required by the districts policies and procedures

Qualifications And Desired Experience

Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification as an SLPA required
Prior experience working in school settings supporting K-12 students preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist with student caseloads
Ability to work onsite full-time with no virtual or hybrid options available

Additional Details

Supervision for this role will be provided by the districts speech-language pathology team
This position is strictly onsite; remote work is not permitted
Contract is in place for this assignment
